Prescription to Progress: A Connected Patient Care Experience

For a patient treatment does not end with a prescription. There is payment, pharmacy fulfillment, shipping and regular check-ins to keep track of along the way.

Our client, A telehealth provider, offers patients a prescription medication program that brings together medical review, pharmacy fulfillment and ongoing care. Its patients needed one simple, reliable place to manage the whole journey from their phone.

The Challenge

They faced four challenges:

  • Too many steps to follow. Patients had to keep track of medical review, prescription, payment, pharmacy and shipping.
  • Check-ins that keep treatment moving. Regular check-ins and health screenings had to be easy to complete, so treatment didn’t stall.
  • Progress and medication in one place. Patients on weight-loss programs needed to see their progress and log their medication in the same app.
  • Fast releases, healthcare-grade reliability. New features had to reach a live patient base quickly and safely.

Our Solution

TechVedika designed and built a native Android app that brings the whole medication journey into one place, and has kept improving it through continuous releases.

Patients follow every order, complete guided check-ins, track their weight-loss progress and log their medication, all in one app. It is live on Google Play and used by the public.

The Impact

5,000+ installs, live with the public on Google Play | 3.9★ rating from 5,000+ reviews | 300+ features and improvements shipped in 10 months | Android 8–16 supported, now on app version 1.6.0

For patients

  • Every order, visible. Live order tracking follows each order from medical review to pharmacy to delivery, with carrier tracking.
  • A clear next step. Guided check-ins and health screenings show patients exactly what to do next, so treatment doesn’t stall.
  • Progress in one place. A weight-loss dashboard shows progress against personal goals, with trends and daily averages, and smart-scale readings arrive automatically over Bluetooth.
  • Medication, logged. A medication journal records injections, injection-site reactions and side effects.
  • Secure sign-in and support. Patients sign in with a one-time email code, chat with the care team, share documents and get push notifications.

For the business

  • New features reach patients safely. Feature flags roll them out gradually, an automated release pipeline delivers updates to the Play Store fast and consistently, and extensive testing keeps quality high in a healthcare setting.
  • Steady momentum. 300+ features and improvements delivered in 10 months, now on version 1.6.0.
  • Built to grow. A modular design lets the client add new capabilities without disrupting existing ones.

Conclusion

TechVedika turned a complex, multi-step medication journey into a single patient-first Android app. From the first medical review to the latest check-in, patients now have their orders, progress and medication logs in one place on their phone. And with a modular design and continuous releases, it is built to keep growing, one safe release at a time.
